Williams Field High School
Only persons of high scholarship in English are admitted to our fellowship. We join with other literature enthusiasts in celebration of all the fields of English and in acknowledging that a life in which literature and good writing are a significant part is a life worth living. Come join an elite group of high school students from across the country whose desire is to celebrate literature and literacy.
MEMBERSHIP - CELEBRATING LITERATURE
MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS
Candidates for Membership in NEHS must have:

Attended WFHS the equivalent of one semester.

Completed the equivalent of two semesters of English prior to induction as members. No freshman students will be admitted.

Earned a minimum overall grade point average of a 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) prior to induction as members.

Achieved a minimum English grade point average of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) prior to induction as members.

Submitted an NEHS membership application.

Paid the one-time $25 NEHS membership fee (upon your acceptance of membership). This fee includes your national membership dues as well as the cost of your NEHS membership certificate, membership card, lapel pin, diploma sticker, and graduation honor cord.

JOIN THE CELEBRATION
The National English Honor Society is the only high school level honor society devoted exclusively to the study and enjoyment of the English language and literature. We join other NEHS chapters around the country in celebrating literature and literacy.
